Although I should be writing my law school application essays, I think it's important that glorify know how much this site has meant to us. I may not have been a consistent poster since I joined, but I probably looked at it everyday, if not multiple times a day. It's a important part of life, and I don't know what I would do without it. I thoroughly enjoyed reading many of our posts. The depth of the site was incredible. There were many other things to do than post. I think the worst part for me is that we lost some greatly insightful posts forever. However, I would rather lose them than not having the site back at all. I know that glorify will get this site back to where he built it to because he is as dedicated to it as much as we are. Thank you glorify for all your time in effort. I wish I contributed to the gold drive before, but I will be the first to do so if you do it again. Thanks for sticking it out.
EXACTLY!!!! I was on the site every day atleast 2 or 3 times. This is a great way for me to feel connected to my old home. Living here in INDY with all the homer Colt fans really can take a toll on a guy. This site to me is more then just a place to post my frustrations, concerns and opinions. This is a part of San Diego to me, I know it may sound silly to some who live in wonderful So-Cal but it is just the way it is for me. Let me know when memberships are ready to be accepted and I'm on it. This site ROCKS no matter how shitty it looks. HAHAHAHAHA
GTP is the best way for me to keep in touch with my hometown Chargers. This site helps me stay connected and informed. It's also a place I can come to just to read some funny stuff and have a good laugh. It's never been easy being a Bolt fan surrounded by Squaw fans so this is my refuge away from all thier BS. Most members here bleed blue and gold and reading thier posts, comments and opinions helped me get through the last few seasons. Thanx to all of you that contribute and make this site the best around. Bolt Pride is forever and GTP4Life!!! Go Bolts!!!
I was really going thru withdrawals without it. Didn't miss the problems for the few days, but just felt like there was something missing.
understatement right there. This site is a part of any true Charger fan. I can't imagine Draft day, training camp, game days with out GTP. It would be like christmas without turkey and santa.
I bet there were a couple hundred of us going thru the same thing. Then Saturday I clicked on my bookmark for GTP and - and then Our GTP was back! I felt like I didn't know what to do with myself while GTP was being worked on. Scott I sincerely apologize for the work that was necessary due to me. I should have realized the SD Union has the copyrights to their pics. That was my bad. Thank you for getting GTP up and rolling. It feels like coming home.
Gotta say it isn't much to look at-and when I had to register I was like "OH for Gawd sakes!" but I am glad he decided if not for a little while to bring it back and see what happens. I know he has learned a few things (Back it up on disc!) And be careful what buttons you push and haste makes a site go bye bye etc. etc. but I will help him where I can to get us back on track.
I really missed this place! G, if there is anything the community can do to help, please let us know!
