Was a rainy day, just got back from a canceled construction site and it was the first song from Yo MTV raps that day (dr feelgood was before that). The only other rap song that hit me like that was Can't Truss it. yeah, the guitar pulls in. My computer speakers and the song quality from Youtube suck, so I didn't get the right feel. Damn! Now I have to get that sorted to get on with my life
I feel you....everything ever said on hip-hop CDs doesn't speak to or about me either, but after looking at your list and knowing so much about the artists you mentioned.....I would expect you to give folks on public assistance a break....is all! Thing is....when you read up on the captains of industry as the industrial revolution rolled in......at least folks kinda had an understanding that there is a price to pay for maintaining such a system.
