I knew about this, and honestly, I despise it. One of my favorite books as well, but to pull this off without a complete bastardization of the original story would be next to impossible. The graphic nature of the story mixed with the extremely young ages involved would never be able to be shown.
Yeah I was talking about that with my brother. The actors are good choices, and the slightly older ages have to happen for the movie. But I am worried about the director. Wolverine? That movie kinda blew
Better than season 2. Spending 10 episodes looking for a lost kid and building characters' back stories (with the exception of TWD-2, EP-3 where Shane hobbles Otis) took away from the focus of the series. TWD is all about splashing zombies, and business is good in Season-3!
Not sure how I feel about this one. This is one that could never be properly adapted to the screen, and the fact that Kristen Stewart has a lead role makes me want to throw things. Also, I hate the awful fake accent that the lead actor is using. Kerouac had a thick accent, but this dude sounds like a child molester.
Act of Valor was such a good movie. Made me think: A) how close do we really come to horrific terrorist attacks that get stopped in the last second? and B) I really don't accomplish much. I mean, these guys go to bed know for a fact they make a difference in the world. I go to bed happy if I know I made pretty good sandwich for lunch that day. I am so grateful for the men and women who do this sort of thing in real life. As a kid (and even older) I thought I could do that. No way. These guys are so incredibly bad ass, it is seriously indescribable. What I liked about it was the use of real SEALs with real weapons and tactics and based on things that happened in real life missions. In-fucking-sane!
