There was a play that led to a score which can be attributed to the taping of the practice. If on a certain play the defense knew what was going to happen based upon the formation then the secondary would have an advantage in that they could jump the route and turn it into a big play. With 8:49 left in the second quarter, New England defensive back Ty Law intercepted a pass intended for receiver Isaac Bruce and scored on a 47-yard return to give the Patriots a 7-3 lead.

Is it a big assumption to think that Law might have known that pass was coming based upon the tapes? I don't think so!

Me and my friend (who's a Steeler fan) were talking about that play too. They did it to several teams including the Steelers in the 01 championship game when Ty Law took one to the house .
A lot of the time they play good D in the first half. Like in the superbowl vs the Rams they gave up 3 points at the half and 14 in the second.
In the superbowl vs Carolina they gave up 10 points in the first half and 19 in the second.
Last years ACF championship game vs the Colts the Pats gave up 6 points in the first half and 32 in the second half.
It looks to me that the taping the walk threws and other taping made a difference in the first half of games, but they had no tapes for the halftime adjustments.
They should all burn!

Josh that makes perfect sense. The first half if they did video tape a walk throw it would be fresh in their minds and they are reacting to what they saw and remember from films. However they lose that edge when a team adjusts it game in the second half and they are forced to play it legit.
