Yes...this is all true I am minus one kidney, the right one Here's the story and a lesson to be learned Back in the month of June I was pissing blood...But with my infinite wisdom in the medical field, I figured that I should drink more water and take a vitamin...Well....it didnt work....One day I came home from work and decided to show my girlfriend, of 12 years, what was coming out of my body...SHE FREAKED THE FUCK OUT!!!...called my Mom...SHE FREAKED THE FUCK OUT!!!...anyhow...the very next day I was being seen at the VA Hospital in Dayton. 2 days later I was seeing a Urologist and he scheduled the 1st of 3 biopsies...(these MFers are painful). My case was transfered over to the Air Force Base...Wright Patterson AFB to be exact...anyhow...25 October I had an 8 hour surgical procedure to remove the right kidney and the uertor....I spent 4 nights in the hospital and I was allowed to go home last Saturday afternoon...Everyday a little bit of the pain goes away...but Im still in some pain....just the other day I spoke with my doctor....the pathologist report from the surgery had come in and RJones61 is 100% free of any and all cancer in my body...This was very good news...because I was afraid that it had spread...and it had not LESSON TO BE LEARNED:...I blew off seeing a doctor from close to 3 weeks while I was pissing red koolaid...NEVER IGNORE the signals that your body sends you...It could lead to your death. Im at home recovering and I am not due to return to work until 17 November...I have the new Batman game for the XBox360...I feel pretty damn good, other than the fact I have a catheter and a piss bag attached to it. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers...Life will go on with one kidney RJ
Quick update....they found additional Cancer. Im going in for surgery tomorrow (16 March). They are going to scrape and cauterize a small area of my bladder. It developed from my bad kidney, that was removed in October. I guess my bad kidney wanted to give me a small token of its appreciation as it was removed. Im going to kick this Cancer in its ass....if its the last thing I do
Yup. Small and gay. But at least they have a function. Not like a spleen (which sounds made up). Spleens are the Jacob Hesters of the human organs. You almost have to create a role for them. Good luck, Rob. Think of your cancer as a raider fan and punch it in the junk.
