Not sure, but I would hope for A's. That's where I remember him doing the most damage.

    Except against SD. ;)

Don't forget about his record for scoring the most runs. The closest active player who could even DREAM of reaching it is A-Rod, and he's still over 600 behind!

    Saxman New year, new hope...

Damn, chilli! You beat me to it!

Speaking of which, I heard the Padres are looking for a catcher:

It's an upgrade from what we have been seeing since Ramon Hernandez left!

    Congrats, Rickey!

Yes! One of my favorite all-timers makes it on the first ballot. I'm really happy for Ricky. He may be a knucklehead, but no one loved the game as much as he did, or played harder (especially in cotnract years). IMO he HAS to go in wearing green and gold. He was MVP as an Atheletic, won one of his rings as an A, hell, he is FROM Oakland. And his SB record is safe until baseball cycles to its past again and speedsters get the green light, which will be never.
Congrats also to Jim Rice. He was a DH, and I didn't care much for him at the time, but a lot of East Cost bias journalists will finally STFU about him already.

San Diego Steve Start the season now!

One of the greatest ever. He'll for sure go in as an Athletic, mind you my best memories of Ricky are when he helped my Toronto Blue Jays win a world series. Man that was awesome.

ordane JUST TO GET A REP!!

Its funny me and a buddy were talking about that yesterday. When Ricky Henderson was in NY he was talking to John Olerud. He told him "You know I used to play with a dude in Toronto that wore a helmet at first base." John Olerud was like yea, that was me!!:D Ricky was definitely not the brightest but that dude was talented! And he did contribute a lot to the Pads!! Congrats Ricky!!

If I recall, he got his 3,000th hit in a San Diego uniform.
