I wanna be ok with it Sax......but I gotta see them play against the big boys.

I don't mind 1st round O-linemen so much. True we have found some gems over the years for our lines in later rounds, but our HOF o-lineman Ron Mix.....1st rounder!

Those lines are nowhere near as offensive as the rag-tag group "protecting" San Diego's signal caller.

    Offensive line?

"Your mother is a goat-fucking whore with a blue waffle!"

    Now THAT'S offensive!

(BTW, don't know what blue waffle is? Google it...if you dare!)

I find sax more offensive than sending someone to look at a blue waffle

SonofaBolt Go AJ! And take Norv with you.

I don't think the Chargers had the luxury of drafting OL in the 1st round, especially a guard in a draft that was deep at the position. What does bother me is that AJ passed up on many good guard and tackle prospects in the next three rounds to take a project in the 5th who can't play this season.

The Chargers are rebuilding, the steelers are retooling. They could afford to draft whom they did while the Chargers were left to patch the many holes that have opened on the roster since AJ started making his own draft decisions starting in 2008 til now.

Just think back a few years to all the hype surrounding Gallery. DeCastro may be all that, but we'll see. I for one, am glad we drafted defensively.

Doesn't mean Ingram isn't "Gallery" just because it's a different position...If anything, DeCastro is less a gamble than expecting an OLB without the typical features to be better. But I DO agree with SOB on the amount of guys available! I was pissed that the seemingly sure fire pro bowler, DeCastro wasn't taken but at the same time, the run on other positions made it so probable that other linemen were there for the taking. DT? ok, no worries-even with the trade up (looks worse now though) safety? yeah, I see and as Devo pointed out, there was STILL shitloads of o-linemen available ..but then tight end and then a guy who 100 percent is a failure for 2012? line was ignored, very very bad

    Saxman New year, new hope...

Of course you do, Oz. Of course you do!

I predict the first play from scrimmage will be a blue waffle: a bruising stuffed run, RIGHT UP THE MIDDLE!
