    diego4life Kiss my Bolt!!!!

I've been hearing we are in for a really cold winter. If anyone is coming down bring thermals. I've got a few Bolt Jackets as well. I usually wear at least two pairs of sox, Thermal pants, sweats or jeans, thermal top, shirt, hoodie, jersey, jacket, stretch gloves, thermal gloves, beanie and ear muffs.

It does get a bit nippy here in Vegas (30's-40's) but NOTHING like it does back there. I ski in shorts ....come to think of it, all I own is shorts, except for a pair of wedding/funeral pants, lol, so looks like time to buy a pair of jeans and some light thermals.
DAMN I hope we can make it, looks good right now. Money isn't the problem, it's getting the time off work that close to Christmas and all.

Hey, if you can make it, please do - but that's a hard time to get any time off, no one's going to hold it against you! Light thermals are probably not going to do the trick man. 3 years ago in December, it was freezing rain for the 2 hours of tailgate time I was there at about 25 degrees (so you're not only cold, but soaked too). Then just before game time, it dropped to 19, and still freezing rain - then you get inside Arrowhead, and that cold wind is just swirling around inside that bowl. I gave my gloves to a fellow Bolt fan, but then we were both freezing. They sell a great drink called "The Benchwarmer" at the concession stands (peppermint schnapps in hot chocolate), but even that and a Chiefs fan sharing his flask of whiskey with me didn't completely obliterate the cold, and I was wearing a sweatshirt under my down jacket, w/ my L.T. jersey on top and jeans w/ Army thermals underneath, and I was still freezing my narrow, skinny ass off. I got frostbite in a toe when I was stationed in Germany, and Arrowhead seemed colder than that crap. Maybe some thermals under some sweatpants and another pair of pants would be the way to go this winter. It's supposed to be just as brutal as D4L has already said according to the Farmer's Almanac, which is rarely wrong.

We are really going to try!! Looks good right now.

Damn!! Had no idea it got that cold.........may have to invest in some waterproof snow pants. I will have my flask of 151, but that sounds like it's brutally cold. Oh well, we will hang!
