I know it's one game and every play wasn't perfect, and there are plays where doesn't get off blocks. But watching him harass the Auburn QB and chase down RBs from behind got me excited. He still has work to do, but I am very happy he's a Charger.

After the last few drafts I've learned to wait till week 7-8 before passing judgement. I was Jazzed at the English pick and where did that go

Yeah I'm not crowning him yet, but I never saw English highlights like this!! And we don't have another defender with his athleticism and ability. We all know since Merriman got hurt that a guy like this is exactly what we need. And when teams start double teaming him then Phillips, Barnes, Luigit , Reyes etc will be one on one! Now if we can only cover........

I think there's a difference.......

Yeah....I think Ingram is a very good prospect, but we probably should reserve a little....so it's not a major letdown if he doesn't turn out to be the truth!

He looks good though....so I'm hopeful he's the beast we've been missing!!!

That was a good video. I came away very impressed with his burst/closing speed and an effective spin move. I loved his interception on the fake FG; he made a great read. I've seen several INTs in his highlight reels, which bodes well for his coverage skills. He played all over the place in that game (throughout his career from what I've read...), but I wonder if the team will limit his role initially to that of a pass rusher.

Not for nothing, but why not MLB?
