I'm sure AJ knew about Meachem's bad knee, (just like our 2012 5th round draft pick's season ending injuries) and would have signed him anyway, since he's a top flight #1 WR that we brought in at a bargain price tag..................or he didn't know about the knee, doesn't believe he's a #1 at all, and possibly overpaid for him as well......good call. I actually like this player, he's just not a #1 or anything close to it. He's a speed guy who will stretch the field and open things up for our other receiving weapons. My guess is that Meachem finishes third in catches behind Gates and Floyd, probably behind Matthews as well.
