    awesome

They have one up here in Canada as well.

I reported for the school "newspaper" during thanksgiving week when I was in the sixth grade in Oregon. I sat with the second graders as they ate lunch dressed as moderately accurate pilgrims and stereotypical western plains natives . This was the age we all learned that the pilgrims taught the indians how to grow food and the indians brought the berries and animal skins!

2 weeks ago I listened to a Joe Rogan podcast and the three people in his studio all thought the white man taught the Natives how to grow corn. Here's the thing...I remember where I learned this bad info because I got a refresher course visiting those second graders. The myths that are taught at a young age still stick around in the ether after they've been corrected too--if one is not actively learning to memory.

The next podcast, he corrected after listener emails helped him.

I lived in Boston recently and talked to several long time resident intellectuals and none of them knew that every old town with the name, "field" at the end was named so because that's what was there when they made it theirs; Fields in the middle of lush North Eastern forests is not a natural occurrence, nor are cornfields and permanent dwellings (many of the people lived in houses and traveled south to their winter homes). There's a cunt named John Winthrop who is celebrated in Boston...He had native slaves and they've buried that detail pretty good as well because there's really no one left to complain and they have enough problems with making kids proud of African slave owning founding fathers. The first New England settlers survived by grave robbing and taking...yes the Lord worked in mysterious ways.

sorry to go on, yes! happy Turkey Eating Day!
