Today starts a new era of Padre baseball!! A LOT of young talent to see this year. And I mean TALENT.....not the garbage that's usually in our farm system. I'm very excited about guys like Cory Luebke, Guzman, Alonso, and many others. Baseball takes forever for players to develop so they probably won't do much this season, but this year will be the start of something great. CHILLI?? Your thoughts??? You're the baseball guy here......
Lots of question marks, but definitely have the youth and talent to build around. Luebke is going to be a stud, but I don't know about the rest of the staff. Lots of question marks on the infield too. I love the outfield and the speed that this team has. Why Volquez is pitching tonight is beyond me though. The NL West is going to be Luebke vs Kershaw/Cain for years to come.
Well technically this is the gayest thread on GTP LOL. I didn't think Volquez did that bad. He had a horrible 4th but only gave a up 3 total. Also I think the sky is the limit for Luebke. He WILL be a cy young contender.....then he will sign somewhere else for 100 million.....
