Cromartie's wife fakes suicide.

The wife of New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie sent texts to her husband, leading him to believe she was attempting suicide, according to the New York Post.

Terrika Cason Cromartie, who is seven months pregnant with the couple's second child, reportedly sent her husband texts that read: God forgive me, I don’t want to die. What have I done?” and “I cut my wrists. I took those pills.”

A panicked Antonio Cromartie then contacted police who broke down two doors to get to the house to find Mrs. Cromartie asleep and no evidence of any suicide attempt.

She admitted to police that she faked the attempt because she believed her husband, who has 10 kids altogether, was cheating on her.

After initially objecting, Terrika Cromartie was taken for a psychiatric evaluation.
