I can only think that this kid doesn't fully understand what that flag represents to a lot of people. Another example would be the swastika. It used to just be a symbol of good luck. And then a certain party used it to represent them. And now it means something completely different - even though it used to mean something that was the opposite of how people see it now.
Got to say symbols don't bother me in the least, just as a persons religion or faith if you want to hate a person for his beliefs you have hate within yourself. You can Ignore it or make a big stink, weather Jew Indian Japanese white black etc.. People get real, everyone is entitled to their opinion fuck the PC police!
So what........it's not like a North Korean flag, Nazi or KKK flag. That flag brings a lot emotions out in different people. But it will be a cold day in hell when someone tells me what I can sport in my room.
.... Maybe he does truly understand what it represents and that is the reason why. Possibly he is making that same self evident statement that is used as an argument against it....as in the fact that ANY flag has it's opposing perspective and that, that falls squarely on others' personal stance on the matter of how it is perceived. Unfortunately the majority of "Nationalistic" americans will blindly follow the patriotism of our flag and whether though ignorance or blind arrogance they will not acknowledge the self same atrocities that this country has perpetrated against other countries and it's own citizens thoughout it's existence.
I think it's becoming a popular theme......no soap parties in those barracks....found image on the sister site of the first one http://oathkeepers.org/oath/
....Yes, they should. Unfortunately, it just goes to prove that blind nationalism negates morals and conscience
