Ugh..I missed it. Celts almost did the same thing. We cut it to 5 late in the game after being down almost 20. Pierce played like he took a tylenol pm before the game. Rondo gets kicked out with a minute left...good god
What a great game. Watched it and bailed out when Del Negro replaced the starters........then went to the computer room and heard the screaming on the TV from the other room when we closed it to 11. I still cannot believe Memphis allowed us to come back like that. What was it......a 26-1 run at one time?? That is about as demoralizing a loss as it can get. Clippers win the series in 7 games. Oh what could have been if Chauncey Billups didn't get injured for the remainder of the season.
Yeah, I was about to leave work when the 4th quarter started, but one of my regulars came in, so I chatted with her for a bit. Next thing I knew, it was a 12 point game, and we laughed about them having a shot at coming back. Next thing I know, everyone in the bar was yelling at the TV. Incredible.
