    Saxman New year, new hope...

Apparently, Tampa Bay did something similar, only they didn't piss away a draft pick to do it and, frankly, with the players they have acquired, I think they are afforded the luxury of being able to kick the tires on a player like Eric LeGrand.

This press release was posted by Rich Eisen (NFL Network).

There is a reason he played like shit his last season.......but he still played through it with 2 injuries.

Honestly, I didn't expect him to contribute this season.........we are just gonna have to disagree.....what I will disagree about is taking him anywhere other than in UDFA.

How many players has AJ drafted that other teams passed on because they were coming off serious injuries?

    Cromartie.....Castillo.......that coma kid. lol....

I think everyone going from "what a great draft" to "man, this draft kinda sucks now" over one player is what trips me out.

Who knows, maybe the surgery makes him a better player down the road. It wasn't like MCL/ACL/Total knee reconstruction.

And was he gonna contribute this year??Probably would have been on the practice squad.

My outlook on this..........not surprised AJ doing, not a smart move. But lets wait and see who steps up. There are no guarantees he was even gonna make the team with those injuries.

To know call the draft, and everything we did in free-agency because one kid came in damaged goods is ignorant.

How did that Mgahee thing work out?? He was drafted in the first round, and know is a Pro Bowler.

    THE SKY IS NOT FALLING.......

Can't speak for anyone but myself, but I still like our draft. Can't tell you how excited I am to see Ingram rip Peyton's head off!! That and hopefully Reyes can get some serious playing time to see what he can bring! Taylor too! And if Molk can stay healthy (big if) then we definitely have found an heir apparent to Hardwick. Still like our draft....not happy about AJ drafting injured players........we could have drafted Chris Rainy!!

If AJ were a nurse we could say, "Hey she does a great job! She only dropped a couple of babies". a 5th on a thin team is real important but bigger than that is what it says for AJ's competence. Yeah, it makes one look at every other pick and wonder. I loved the safety pick and didn't even complain about the trade-up. but now I'm wondering about that pick...not to mention that that makes two giveaways on a thin team.

In a world where you can always cite "inexact science" we can only go on the objective mistakes when judging someone's ability as leader. This was an objectively stupid thing to do
