So we'd pay Tolbert 3mil per year, but not that much on Michael bush??? Not sure I understand that logic

If this is the best we do in free agency, it wasn't enough.

    I'm we'll do more (hopefully!)...but it's just s...l...o...w...e...d down a bit :D

I'd like to get some more DL and OL depth.

Yeah, but who is out there that you really want?
Not too many RBs I'd take (I'm not especially impressed with Battle)
    Jeff Faine? Demetrius Bell? eh...
    Raheem Brock? Vonnie Holiday? eh...
About he only player out there I would check out is Matt Roth, but even he isn't anything special. Aaron Maybin? See if he can turn in into something? I'd rather bring back Igor Olshansky, honestly.

Besides getting Antonio Garay back (and he really has had ONE really pretty solid year followed by one average year), who is there to get?

It's not like the Chargers can magically sign the reincarnation of Reggie White and Bruce Smith. Who is out there worth signing?

This is a very good point. I think you have to think "Who can we get that can add quality to our starting lineup." Because you are right, the big names are mostly gone. I think we have to look to the OLine and DLine, there are better options there than we may think, simply because they aren't big names like the skill position guys. That being said, I'll do some homework and throw out some options, cuz' I can't think off the top of my head who I would add on the OL and DL without looking around to see who's available.

Bottom line, with all the FA signings are we better than last year? I think not! AJ is still a Fuknut!

    Saxman New year, new hope...

I am surprised to say that A.J. has done more this off-season than I expected.

I am NOT surprised to say that it isn't enough.

I just don't think that this team is any better now than it has been. About the only thing that might do it is to send people like Clary, La Boy and Hester packing. It's sad to say but about the only way to improve things is addition by subtraction along with some INTELLIGENT draft picks and maybe a few quality pick-ups after cuts are made in pre-season.

Yeah, I think at this point any free agent signings are for back-up purposes. I think there's gonna be some players cut before the season starts to due salary issues, draftees, etc. We could find a good FA then.
