    swoop I post stuff.

Since parting ways nine years ago with perennial Pro Bowl safety Rodney Harrison, the Chargers have been struggling to find a competent strong safety. Some believed that the Chargers were targeting Mark Barron in round one of the 2012 draft, hopeful that he could become what they team has been missing since Harrison went to…[IMG]

This headline is copy/pasted from last season, except Bob Sanders was the guy. Prove it for fuck's sake and stop saying it.

Same words, same risk (injury-prone), but less upside!

Bob Sanders was a potential pro-bowl safety and as such the risk seemed reasonable...even if we pretty much all knew it was a long-shot to pan out. If it had worked...we would have gotten a baller!

If this works out we get a serviceable SS.....and while I know that more than we've had in awhile....that's hardly worth getting excited about.

    But hey.....Weddle thinks he can play............so there's that!:rolleyes2:

You cant compare Bigby and Sanders in anyway or form, besides they're both Safety's.

Sanders was a baller who blew his knee out after several solid seasons and tried several attempts to play through it...(although I thought his attempt with us was a totally puss out move).

Bigby had one solid season in Green Bay, got hurt 2 seasons in a row there and was released........, and without a training camp this past season he really had no way to break into the Seahawks starting line-up, although every Seahawk fan i've talked to has said he was as physical as any of their DB's.....and Seattle has a very good, young big defensive back field.

Give the kid a chance. He was basically signed as training camp fodder, and after you guys see Brandon Taylor, you'll see why this article won't mean much by the 2nd pre-season game.

Bigby will be a good back up, and put pressure on Stuckey to step it up.
