The Scott Van Pelt Show website is doing a greatest emcee tournament bracket. Cool idea, but the seeding is rediculous. South/West bracket http://espn.go.com/espnradio/bracket?id=7620068 East/8 Mile bracket http://espn.go.com/espnradio/bracket?id=7620069
You know. I have been meaning to be on here more but have been busy. Who are your top 5 producers. No particular order.
I don't know enough about producers to make an educated list. I would have to see a list of producers and what they are credited with. Maybe Nino can make better sense of it.
Wow....I am assuming we just mean hip-hop producers, but that's still a tough one. Dr. Dre The Hitmen (the guys that actually produced all the stuff Puffy is credited with....Chucky Thompson and those guys) J Dilla DJ Premier RZA Tougher than I thought after thinking about it....lots of these guys (Rick Rubin, Jazzy Jeff, Neptunes, Kanye, Clark Kent, Just Blaze, Jazze Pha, Prince Paul, Swizz Beats, Timbaland, Capri, etc.) all could be on that list outside of just personal taste. I'm east coast though....so other than Dre.....I gotta go with what I know and love best.
It's crazy how indoctrination of the youth is so rampant in our society without anyone caring about it...unless it's those other people indoctrinating your kids.....it's all that dang rap music being such a popular refrain !!! These girls weren't there when Reagan was president....I'm just so sure it was so significant to them that they would include that in the chorus of a song.
1. J Dilla DJ Premier Dr. Dre RZA Pete Rock Large Pro The Beatnuts Da Beatminerz DJ Quik The Neptunes Erik Sermon Timbaland
I think you would know more than you think. Yup Timbaland is in my top five. Pete Rock DJ Premier Eric Sermon. Off Hip Hop I have to give some respect to Tim and Bob, those tracks for Bobby Valentino were great. And even though the song was kinda cheesy they made a smooth beat for the thong song. They have been in the business awhile.
