And to totally drop L's jaw, I removed AZ's lyrics from DJ premier's track and inserted Jay Z with J5.
Oh! Crap, thanks Santo, how could I forget Gang Starr add that to my list: Redman (Whut thee album) - Jam 4U was the shit. Tribe Called quest - ANY album but Midnight Marauders was my fave and Low End Theory to follow. Pete Rock and CL Smooth EPMD Black Sheep- (Kind of goofy, but great stuff. Flavor of the month? Love that track. Strobelight Honey!) Eric B and Rakim - Paid in Full tape cassette was worn out. Rakim had some good stuff later on but it wasn't played like it should be. (Finest Ones) Inspectah Deck - THIS GUY SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE. His intro into triumph is the best intro ever. Anything with GZA, I could listen to him all day. Gang Starr
We went with my aunt and uncle to go see Jimmy Fallon when we were in NY. The Roots were so good during the intermissions. I didn't know they were the band and my uncle is a big fan of the show. He was talking the whole trip about this Grammy nominated band that he really liked. It's funny because he's jewish and 61 years old. Right on Uncle
Some Black Sheep for you Nose. Sampled from Jefferson Airplane if you didn't know. and the JA reference. I have that CD also.
