Yeah the shit our daughter didn't learn in public school here. Not one geography class. She didn't know where Washington DC was, or most of the 50 states. Here is some shit for you. Her school is divided into 4 different schools. School of Business School of Science School of Computer Design School of Construction and Auto repair Guess which one is the most popular.
Auto...... At least thats how I would've went. Besides kids don't need to know where places are. They have Google maps and GPS. Hell, I had to show my daughter how to use a phone book when she was 16. (two years ago)
I read somewhere recently that 89% of college students interviewed didn't know what the XLVI meant in this year's Super Bowl. They don't teach Roman Numerals at all. SOB should be pissed....he invented them.
Yeah but separating these kids into classes where basic education is diluted doesn't seem right. I think elective courses should be used how the student wants (Generally in the junior and senior year). But general education is really taking a hit. Nothing against auto mechanics or construction workers, but give the kid a chance to age a few years to make that decision.
What is your point red? ....oh and by the way this video was made in Washington, so what does that have to do with California?
O Oh, I'm sorry brainless, ....are you sure about that? you might want to check you facts on that and look in the mirror when you make your usual stupid remarks when it comes to talking about things you don't know about . By the way, of course with your usual deflection, you didn't answer the question about what the point of the statement of 52% of California's budget being spent on education was and what the video had to do with it ....of yeah, the video didn't have anything to do with it....nevermind that point but I would like to know what the original intent was of California's education budget. oh yes and even if I was wrong about the State ....it still wasn't California, was it. so once again maybe you should take a little look at yourself where education is concerned. Because i think you might want to invest in a little adult eduacation.
