I'm not too into politics. Actually, to be perfectly honest with you, the fact that I even bothered to add the word "too" in the previous sentence means I'm lying to myself. That might bother some people here. So I went ahead and wrote a disclaimer for the nutjobs. Which reads as:

"Some people are into politics and some people aren't. Sometimes even people who are into politics dislike people who aren't because they think politics are "soooo important". Those people can kiss my ass. Half of them put more time and effort staying current with their politics then actually doing something to affect their own views on the matter."

Two problems with lists like this is the limited framing of the issues-hence choices- and with the list's acceptance of the candidate's official rhetoric supporting or not supporting them.

I'd also like more subjects...surely a candidate's position on Israel is more pressing than gay marriage, (To be fare though, I think Ron Paul is the only one from this list's bunch, crazy enough to have a different position)

On the first point, take the immigration question. It gives no choice for repealing NAFTA (not sure if any of those guys would, but maybe they should be asked)

On the second, it's not just voting records that reveal a candidate's position (and certainly not their empty stumping)...it pays to see who they're being financed by, who is advising them, what they do to give support or how hard they fight for things they pretend to back. Hillary Clinton has already invited the insurance companies to the table, so anything she says about "universal" should come with a word bastardization translation.

I'll take Cynthia McKinney (or Nader if he runs) over all these guys (gals), but the media has deemed her irrelevant to me, so they gave me a man who has less actual support in Gravel (I would recommend that any Dem who thinks one "good guy" in Congress can't do shit to end the war (or anything else), read up on the one man filibuster that Gravel pulled off in the day)
